Yaris/Prius Pistons/Rings 13011-21120

Long time lurker, just sorted out my account as I haven't been able to post for a year since joining.

I have a 2NZ-FE powered NCP10 (Echo in Australia), with a 1NZ-FE engine sitting in the driveway to rebuild and install when I get a chance.

I was thinking of refreshing the engine before installation, and then as I am sure all on here understand started contemplating engine mods.

First mod I was considering is 1NZ-FXE (Prius) pistons, and running 98 Octane fuel that is available here.

I was put off by the reports of the thinner rings and lighter ring tension. I was contemplating getting the ring groves machined to take standard 1NZ-FE Rings, but now see that the superceeded part number for both the FE and FXE is the same;

13011-21120

Does this mean the FE rings would always fit the ring groves of the FXE pistons?
