Anyone Actually Running Scion xD Suspension?

My '07 Yaris is currently lowered on Tein S-Tech and Tokico Blues. It's time to replace the shocks, and I'm thinking bout a bit of a lift.

Is anyone actually running stock Scion xD shocks/struts? What's the ride and handling like vs. stock?

I may actually pop on the Tema 4x4 lift kit, too.

I'd love to hear other's feedback.

I used to. The rear is OK, the front is stiff. Problem is the front shocks will top out quickly. If you take a speed bump or something similar too quickly, the front suspension drops out very quickly. Because the springs are so stiff, the car barely squats when the weight of the car is on the suspension resulting in lots of room for tire travel upward and very little downward.

This is just the kind of info I was thinking. I didn't even consider that about downtravel and the shocks topping out. Thanks for this info.

I wonder how TRD shocks + OE Yaris springs would ride? I know you wouldn't get any lift from it, but perhaps combo would allow for a softer ride than my Tein S-Techs + Tokico HP, but still improved handling over stock dampers ...
