I have... :) sound = awesome :) but it's leaking a bit because the company who installed it were noobs... so I'm going to get a full stainless steel straight pipe from cat to exhaust :)

Well you have the Nitto exhaust from axle back. I wanted to get rid of my muffler and just do a straight pipe.

I've heard that if you take out the rear resonator (just past the cat) that it sounds like a can of bees. I don't know that for a fact or if they even put those on the yarii in the Netherlands.

I have a 2" exhaust from the resonator back (mandrel bent) with a glass packed muffler. Sounds good and makes power.

Has no impact on the motor whatsoever. I have headerback straight pipe, both resonators deleted, 2.25" with just a muffler before the exit. Sounds pretty beastly. Nice low growl.

I now have a leak too that causes some rattling sounds but thats from scraping the crap out of it on the ground all day lol

It doesnt sound bad...but a little farty. If you want a loud, beefy tone...put a chambered muffler on it like the flowmaster 10 or 40 series. I really liked having my 40 series on my car. But since redone the whole exhaust...again now using a Maggie with a FR-S resonator. Sounds awesome.

What if I deleted just the first resonator? Looking for more sound and a possible few horses for cheap.

If you remove the first resonator, it will sound more tin can and resonate through the floor. Gains not really.

Doing only the exhaust will net you nothing noticeable. It is all in your head. There is no "cheap" way to free up hp in such a car. It would take a combo of IHE to really make any difference.

On the echo the single most noticeable power free-re-up-er was the AEM CAI. Then the Borla axle back, then the header.

All of which aren't cheap when it comes down to what they net. The 1nz is so anemic stock there really isn't a cheap way to add power unless you get a smokin deal on a used s/c..

This. I noticed small gains with each but all together I've noticed decent power considering my platform but I've spent over 2k just in bolt ons/breathing cycle mods.

@FlushYaris I'll get you a vid man
