Looks too much like an RX-8 IMO

Very nice interior though. Especially like the design of the steering wheel and gauge cluster

Honestly, thats a far stretch of that kind of function coming to life. If it does, the car just got thrown into the $28k range.

I say leave the car RWD, just give us a decent 6spd and LSD, call it a day and let the tuner world improve upon the rest.

Personally, I don't like the styling.

If seems as if Toyota could not decide if they wanted to bulid a sporty looking coupe or a boring family oriented coupe like the Scion.

Toyota cannot price this in the same range as the Genesis coupe. The yota will not sell. You get more from the genesis for the same price.

You guys do realize this is a concept, still in mid range design. Do people here remember the early and mid phase concepts the R35 GTR went through?? I have Japanese car magazines (Zaa Mai Kaa) from my visit to Japan back in Summer 2006, and the concept build has had some dramatic and mild changes to the overall car (exterior and interior) since 2006. This isn't the final outlook of the car.

The front reminds of the Lexus SC successor concept, especially the headlights.

Whenever this badboy comes out, in close to concept shape, I'm getting it or trading in my Yaris even if I have to be in debt...again :P

Yeah but Hyundai is moving up now plus they offer the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty. Don't forget the choice of engines too. For $22,000.00 you get the 2.0 turbo with 210hp and 223 lb/ft of torque plus a lot of standard features. You have to remember the the original 86 was basically a 2-door corolla. So I think it would only be fair if they priced it slightly higher than a corolla. Even though they use completely different chassis. The point of them or any car manufacturers to team up together to develop a car is to bring the cost of the car down. If it starts at 18500.00 I'll buy it.

Your right about that, but over here the dealer (courtesy toyota) has lifetime warranty, barely any strings attached, unlike Hyundai's warranty, and if it does come out for cheaper than expected, than it will be the best seller of its class IMO

Yeah but not all toyota dealers offer it and if they do you pay extra. I think the hyundai warranty is standard. Not to mention the power potential of the 2.0 turbo.
