Remote Starter for 2009 Hatchback
Hello,
I'm getting a few longed for things for my Yaris. One of the those things being a remote starter. Has anyone had a starter installed? If so, which brand did you go for? I would love to hear some feedback. I was also thinking about installing one myself to save some money. I was reading about a bipass because of the electronic chip in the key. Any info would be great! Thanks, M |

Take a look at my DIY in the thread below. I installed one in my 09 the first week that I purchased it. I went with an Ultrastart 1280 XP, which has been working perfectly for the past 4 1/2 years. For the transponder key bypass I used the Fortin Keyoverride-all.

I lot of alarms have it built in. You could pick up an Ungo of Ebay for $30.~$100. New, that will do the trick.
But dont get stuck on brand, as most every alarm is a DEI. |
