SSR Type C for Yaris?

I am posting this on behalf of a friend. He owns a white yaris 3 door liftback and is wondering opinions on SSR Type Cs. Obviously, i like them and i told him that. But, we wanted a more general forum opinon on them.

He is not really a huge Rota/knockoff wheel fan. He would like a quality, lightweight wheel and he is not extremely stingy with cash when it comes to quality products.

http://www.ssr-wheels.com/wheels/typec_171819.asp

Thank you all for your time.

I am a function over form type of guy usually, but these fulfill both of those needs. For race rims they are extremely lightweight, and look good doing it.
WIN-WIN to me.

^^ sums it up pretty well. 9.1 pounds for 15x6.5 or 12 pounds in a 16x7 and they look amazing.

Those are pretty much my dream wheels

I have some in stock, just so you know. 16x7, Type F in silver or black and one set of Type C in gunmetal.

the only thing that sucks about the SSR Type-C's is if you lower the car with 205mm width tires, it'll probably rub. 195 lowered or 205 not-lowered is fine though. 205 lowered with a tiny bit of camber would probably work too. This rubbing issue is the only reason I didn't buy them. Otherwise they're the perfect wheel. So ridiculously light and the style matches the car pretty well IMO.

^ Neither did I (BF Goodrich 205/50/16) with DF210's, nor do I rub with Type F's.

Split, what brand of tire did you have rubbing with? And yes, as you mention, camber is very easy to adjust to eliminate rubbing.

detroiter, I use Gmail, and not actually AOL, maybe that is causing our problem.
