That was cleanly done. I am sure a ton of people will rip you for it but I think it looks kinda cool. Is it vinyl? Reminds me of walter's car but he had a little different take on it.

gloss, I checked it out.
I plan on hyperblacking all the emblems. if you check out my site in the custom paint section you can see some examples of it www.nicksturbomatrix.com |

oh yeah I remember you now
if I wasn't totally intimidated by paint I'd do a few things but it would end up looking "crafty" on my car

I want to see someone actually do the 2ZZ swap because a lot of people say they're going to do it, but don't. :)

I'm pretty sure he's still in what he calls :shamu: mode. He has his painted all the way up to the hood line. I didnt really like that, I didnt think it matched the GTi. But thats just my opinion. I still like his car too. The PS of his car with the red wheels is hot as hell!!
I will be doing the 2zz swap, no doubt about it. I have the wiring diagrams for both and have been making a spread sheet and how-to for myself during my lunch hour at work. I have a 98 Impreza RS with a 02 WRX swap, I'm no stranger to swaps or LOTS of work. If you check my site you can see some of the cars I've built/owned. http://www.nicksturbomatrix.com/holyshit.wmv Thats my Accord with a modified DSM turbo kit and BIG 16G turbo. It ran a 14.5 with terrible tires. now it has a JDM F20A DOHC motor with a T3/T4 50trim. Its not quite done but should make in the neighborhood of 300whp and run into the 12's with street tires and my custom traction bars I do all of the work myself from the metal fab to the tuning. I socketted my own ECU (I build circuit boards and test them by day) and programmed a standalone setup from a crappy basemap. My car ran smooth as hell. My buddy with a turbo colt used to hate on my skills until I let him drive my car and it was a HELL of a lot more driveable and smooth then his DSM. He socketted his ECU thanks to me and we tuned that baby smooth as glass now. 342whp with a small 16g turbo!! PLENTY of power for that car..... |

looks good, non-flash outdoor pictures would give a better view
but, I like it... As for a 2ZZ swap, I guess you'll beat me to it

Everyone's opinion counts. It's 50/50 on other sites too. More people seem to like it on here though :)
