2014 Yaris interior light won't turn off.

Hey guys,

I have a new issue where my interior light won't turn off when the mode selector is in 'door' mode.

I've sat in the car with all of the doors closed and the key out of the ignition, hit the lock button on the fob, wait the ~15 seconds and the lights will dim slightly and then go back to full brightness and repeat this cycle forever.

Thankfully the light works fine when its in 'off' mode but I hate having no interior lights when I get in the car at night so I would like to fix this.

Bad switch maybe? I have warm white LEDs in the lamp but I doubt that would be an issue, they've been in the light for 3+ years without problems.

10-1 odds are its a door switch, and more than likely the driver one since it gets used the most

I went out to try and diagnose it today(we got home late last night) and the light behaves normally. Glitch in the matrix? I don't know lol but if it comes back I will take a look at the door switch.

I drive alone 90% of the time so I'm very confident you'll be correct if it comes back again.
