Memorial Day

Hope everyone is having a pleasant Memorial Day! Today we honor and remember our fallen soldiers and the freedoms their sacrifice gave all of us. We took the kayaks out to the lake on the Echo today.

Thanks for the comments! I've tried many different techniques for cleaning-up dull, faded headlight covers- sanding, polishing, even Deet mosquito repellent! I finally figured out the best way to get that 'like-new' appearance- just buy new headlight assemblies!

It wasn't that tough to do since the Echo has LOTS of room to work under the hood(much less 'busy' than my Yaris was). Just unscrew a few bolts, unhook a couple harnesses, and it's out! And yeah, I DO like the looks from people amazed a little car like ours can do so much hauling.

Nice Echo! I confess that I get excited when I see Echos in real life.

I've seen quite a few around here lately. Just another example of the longevity of our 1NZ-FE. Echos haven't been made since 2005! Thanks for the compliment!
