2010 yaris short shifter. Does it exist?

Hey all!

So I'm the new owner of a 2010 yaris, base model, 1.5l, 5 speed with 80k miles on it. Woo!

Since picking it up I've started in on whatever maintenence I assumed was never done and now that that's complete it's on to modification!

My only complaints about the car so far is the awful response of the electronic throttle. Which I'm currently researching how to fix, and the shifter feels like an umbrella in a 5 gallon bucket

So all morning I've been researching short shifters and most of them claim to fit 06 to 08, and there's a trd kit that claims to fit 08, 09, 011

Where do I fit in here having a 2010?

Will any of them work? I don't know the differences between the years yet and I'm slowly learning but I cant find a product that claims it fits a 2010. It seems like microimage is maybe out of business? I tried a link or 2 from this forum and they just lead to a generic domain for sale sight.

From my research I think I would prefer an in cabin shifter kit as appossed to under hood, or the trd kit that just comes with the little riser and a shift knob (that I dont want) for 165 bucks that doesnt claim it fits my year anyway.

Really any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah shifters are interchangeable. As for the throttle you can buy throtle response controllers which helps

I have both kinds installed on my 09 HB--MicroImage engine bay kit and TWM Performance shift lever. Neither are available anymore because both companies are out of business.

If you can find one (of either) they both work on all years (06-present) because they use the same shifter cage and cable attachments.

I cut a couple of inches out of mine and rewelded it. Cheap and easy.

A short shift kit is not the same as a short shifter.
