why would you want it? the only thing it will really protect is the windshield...and is your windshield worth the look of that gaudy thing?

already my 07 sedan has rock chips in the front bumper thanks to its blocky design. I hate how bugshields and bra's look, so after purchasing this yaris I prepared myself to fork out a couple hundred every so often to get the front clip painted.

point taken!!

well you definetely got a point there.. its really not much of a hood to protect..and thinkin of going with the 3m film protection on the full front..but i dont know could also be that its a visual thing...

I personally love these things. It has nothing to do with function, I just like giant black plastic strips I guess.

There are two styles I have seen... this and the Toyota Canada version sold through dealerships up north. I don't know where to get this, but the Canadian one can be had at any Canadian Toyota dealership.

i can see the black hood protector on a black yaris, but i think it would be too much on any other color, especially white. might take away from our car's good looks!!

Nah, just tacky. Now, to be rice, you would need more plastic (ventshades/raindeflectors/whatever the hell you want to call them) around all the windows, then a nice one sticking over the rear window with no apperant reason to be there other than to look like ass.
