Headlights stopped working - need help
Hello YarisWorld,
A couple of years ago I installed a 55w HID kit (moving type hi/lo) which worked flawlessly until today. For some reason both headlights went out. I checked all fuses under the fuse box and none were blown. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

did you just do a visual check or did you test them with a volt meter? Sometimes they look ok but are actually popped.
Next check for voltage at the connector for the ballasts, NOT at the bulb. The HID bulbs use extremely high voltage to start. |

^ i ended up just putting in a brand new kit with relays and doing it from scratch. no idea what it was, but its all fixed now. upgraded from 5000k HIDs to 4500k HIDs while i'm at it. Its brighter and less cheap looking now.
