Lotus returns to supercars

Well it appears that Lotus is ditching the Toyota powerplants to move to some major BHP.

It will be a mistake for Lotus. They cannot go head to head with the big boys.

they engineered one of the most powerful engines used in chevy corvette's, why can't they design an engine for themselves?

any way, they should borrow from subaru if they want to borrow technologies.

they can and do manufacture 4 cylinder engines. Then they realize they would have to tack on more than $50 grand to actually use them in their cars.

So they buy engines from toyota so their cars aren't even more absurdly expensive.

^ Lotus will now be "upgrading" pretty much their whole line. The one that you are showing is actually a supercar as for the most part the rest of the line does not classify as that...but I could be wrong.

I just missed meeting John Hennessey a few weeks ago, but will get the chance at a family reunion in 2011. He's my wifes cousin. I guess I did meet him years ago when we first got married, but heck that was 24 years ago! I got a few questions for him,lol Hope he brings some toys to the reunion!! Wonder what he could do to my sedan.......
Twin turbo 4wd Yaris anyone?
