Change factory fog lights to LED? OR add LED lightbar OR ?

Hi All,

2009 Yaris edge 3 door

Is it worth replacing the OEM fog lights with something better?

i took the time to propperly aim them which is a pretty big deal in itself
you can stand in front of the car 30 feet out and not have them in your face like they should be..but the ground cast and pattern kicks serious ass...no "blind spots" on the ground anywhere

also getting the propper kelven in there is more important than anything...dont do shooting for maximum brightness, so far ive tested 10k 8k and 6k, ive got some yellows on order....10k was silly 8k was very nice, 6k worked tons better than OE but i didnt like the light color

of course you should feel sorry for them tho, as ive got spec'ds with the projectors as well, should i need high beams ive got an extra relay built into the hid highs to re-trigger the lows....when high gets hit ive got low, high, fog.....full illumination....great when your out in the dead of night on those super black twisties

this is what ive been using for a few years now...and run their kits in every rig
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1

3 kits in the yaris high+low+fog
2 kits in the explorer high/low+fog
3 kits in the xb2 high+low+fog
3 kits ready for the xb2
2 kits sitting for my lloyd, 2 kits sitting ready for my 58 ford
3 kits installed in a friends vic
the company stands behind their stuff and is quick to send replacements should anything go wrong even after a few years

So this kit would go directly into my FOG LIGHTS ONLY and provide more light.

Do I need to be careful that my lenses are plastic and not glass?

Thanks again

leds are bright to look at but have a ultra short depth of field IE they look bright untill you need to use them

I made a thread for installing OEM Toyota LED fog lights in our cars. Amazing coverage and cutoff. I would never install LEDs/HIDs in a factory reflector housing.
