I just emailed the supplier for unichip.com.au and they emailed me this:

Quote:
Hi Leon,

Thankyou for your interest in Unichip,

There is a Unichip available to suit your yaris. Power gains from vehicles definitely do vary from vehicle to vehicle. However this will definitely assist in helping boost your fuel economy, torque and power.

For all fitting information I would suggest contacting the Unichip dealer located closest to you.

Not according to the fluff on the web site...Sounded good until I got to the last line.

Why should I install a Unichip to my car?

The most obvious reason is to increase engine performance. Significant gains in torque and power across the entire RPM range are possible. In addition, the engine will be smoother, deliver greater response and maximize fuel efficiency at all RPM and throttle positions. A second reason is to harness the performance value of engine and exhaust modifications.

Standard engine management systems are not programmed to cater for exhaust headers, cat back exhaust systems, high flow air cleaners, performance cam shafts or larger turbochargers and intercoolers.

For an example of its flexibility, we have installed Unichip to engines as small as 1200cc and as large as 8200cc(500ci). Not bad for only $1395.00 fitted and tuned.

suspension is not too shabby... much better than the softy Echo... as for tyres... i think 205 would be the sweet spot... as for size... its up to the owner...
