It would be very expensive to add Toyota OEM power locks and windows to a base Yaris (probably in the $2,000+ price range for parts).
You would do much better price wise to go with aftermarket parts. A1electric is a good supplier of all parts needed: http://www.a1electric.com/

not trying to sound like a dick, because we have quite a few on here from what i see already ,but why didn't you buy an LE or SE in the first place???
im sure there are many aftermarket companies that make power window and locks parts, the question is do you want to spend that kind of money to convert it ?

I didn't have the money at that time to get the LE.

I also would like to add Keyless Entry. I wanted the manual windows on the L, but wouldnt mind keyless. I know there are some cheap aftermarket keyless kits, but has anyone done it with factory parts?
I mean, I already have power locks, so would I just have to add the receiver and key fobs? (Sorry for digging up an older post, but i figured there was no need in starting a new one) Last edited by richard_rsp; 05-16-2012 at 10:47 AM. |

I am quite happy with the L, but adding keyless entry using factory parts would be nice. |

You certainly could add the OEM parts, but the receiver alone is over $500.

Yikes!!!! That is a bit spendy. Aftermarket systems are looking to be the better option for this.

Exactly. My 09 came with power, but not keyless, so installed a remote starter and gained keyless and remote start for $70.
