Wow, I haven't thought of Ellicott City for years! I used to be stationed at Ft Meade and lived in Laurel, and Ellicott City was one of my favorite out-of-the-way places in the area!

i really don't like HDR pictures at all :\
i just can't get into it i'm sorry
i would be MORE than happy to take you there if you wanted to do some there :)

You should go to assembly lofts, they are in an old steel mill or something, lots of cool pics to be had. Check out the parking garage as a spot...

clipper mill... That area is so awesome, it's all old factories. They have all sorts of stuff from the factory all around the place, cranes, giant sprockets...

LOL. I'm all the way across the country. hehe. But yeah, HDR is not for everyone, and each photographer has a different set up for their HDR's. I keep mine to the simplest I can get them. hehehe.
