Silky Smooth
Well, I finally got around to cleaning my car again. It was overdue for one (dang school in the way), so I did the works. I cleaned it with Meguiar's Crystal Clean wash (panel by panel like I always do), dried, let sit overnight (did this wash to get that thick layer of dirt off), then washed it again using Dawn (panel by panel ), dried, removed a few scratches, clay barred, waxed, rinsed (to negate the static caused by waxing), and dried. I also cleaned and waxed the rims. I cleaned up the engine bay a bit, and even cleaned and waxed under the hood (wax was hard to get off, as you can see in the pics). Anywho, here are the pics (bad time and bad sun positioning for photography critics).
Engine bay pics: Pics: I'm going to bed. Everything took me around 7 hours to do (excluding the 1.5 hours for the Crystal Clean wash, after studying for and taking a final). I'm pretty tired, plus we celebrated my friend's birthday today, so I'm exhausted). Side note: thanks Mike (Camelll) for the awesome deal on the eyelids. Very nice, I have definitely grown to appreciate sedans more since I joined YW. Thanks in no small part to sedans like yours. Beauty!

Nice, Laz!!! Wanna come to Oklahoma and do mine LOL!!!???
Yours was and still is the standard setter that all us Vios drivers admire and worship. Your Vios was the one that I fell in love with 18 months ago and inspired me to purchase and mod mine. Sure wish we could do a photoshoot together. Vios FTW!!! |

Yeah, I've been taking care of it, but it keeps coming back. I'll be on a short break, so I'm going to take it into the dealership to have them clean it up and coat it with that gel to prevent the acid buildup from returning.

I got the VG's for like 30 bucks (I want to say, but you can get them on eBay for cheaper, maybe. Do an eBay search for Vortekz Generators). |

I don't know that I'd take it to the dealer for that, but that's the right idea; silicone paste ftw.
