Age group

My husband and I are 55 and 57. I love the styling of this little car. I also have a Plum PT Cruiser Turbo and a 2007 Chrysler Aspen SUV. We like the unique cars. This car had to speak to me for me to buy it and it did.

I'm 24 and just picked up my Yaris on Monday. I work for a wind energy company doing communications, public/gov't relations, and other research and analytical work.

I'm 47. Could afford any car up to $50,0000 cash. The one great thing that often happens in middle age is that you care less about being seen in an expensive luxury car, and besides, I'd rather put my money into investments that actually grow in value....cars are a horrible thing to "invest" in....I love my Yaris and couldn't be more happier. Spending thousands for a "fashion accessory" like a Hummer, or any car over say $20,000 is such a waste as far as I'm concerned....society is so worried about how others perceive them, having this need to keep up with the Jones, or better them...somehow equating standing in the community with what one drives....Shallow materialistic Americans, to be sure.

Consider this: Most Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Volvos, Range Rovers and more costing more then $60,000 are LESS dependable then our Yaris, so Why. Do. People. Buy. These. Unreliable Cars.??? Answer: Shallow materialistic insecure idiots seeking status, and the approval of their peers.

If I were to waste $$ on a fine Luxury car, it sure would be none of the cars listed above....I'd get a Lexus because it is the most dependable line of cars in the world, at any cost!

I completely agree. I need a car to get me from point A and point B and the yaris does it great and it's pretty stylish too for me. I don't need expensive-gets-way-too-hot-in-the-summer leather seats or anything like that

I don't think ANYONE here is above a mental age of 20-ish when driving a Yaris (well, I speak for myself, anyway...)

I'm 24 and recently got my university car total by some stupid driver, I haven't even heard of the Yaris until I got it as a rental. It was love at first sight. Roomy interior, low monthly payments and great gas milage are my main factor in choosing this car. Also a the package with the AC and 1000 rebate from the government is not too bad either

End up getting a Silver sedan with the 'C' Package (Canada specs)

What's that with the rebate in Canada?

I have 7 airbags, and the Linea Sol here has a special sound system.
Today i have driven the gas powered Yaris because my new Yaris was damaged by a bird at the highway. So i have lent the car from my boyfriends brother.
It's nice from him to do that, but oh my diesel powered Yaris drives so much better!!! I miss the torque :D
