engine swap
ok so im thinking about doing an engine swap for something that would fit i think i want to do a rotary engine but i dont know what would fit anybody have any ideas

Rotary? Good luck. Please post up your build as u go.
I for see another dead engine swap thread :( A lot of people talk about a swap but rarely anyone does them. Only epic swap I have seen a thread successfully complete was the 4age swap.

And he resides in Asia where available parts are half the price and twice as common |

and don't forget labor prices are totally insane. I forgot what he paid for labor, but it wouldn't buy a tune up in the US if I remember correctly.

Growing up in the 70s, there was the old maxim: "with enough money, you can put any engine in any car." Of course, a tube framed Chevette with a blown 454 BB Chevy was not a very practical or economical car...
You probably can do a rotary; there was an issue of Super Street or one of those tuner car magazines that had an article about someone's Scion XB with a 2JZGTE. The rotary is much smaller/shorter so I am sure it can be done... Of course, how much money do you have and are willing to spend??? |
