2008 sedan wheel change question
I own a 2008 Yaris sedan since new. The original steel wheels had become very rusty. I purchased a set of used original Toyota Yaris factory alloy wheels with tires and TPMS installed. Now the low tire pressure light in dash cluster flashes on start up then goes steady. The alloy wheels and tires were removed from a 2011 Yaris, checking part numbers the TPMS sensors take the same sensor. I had read that these sensors go to sleep during long periods of nonuse. To wake them up you have to lower tire pressure to 10PSI then reinflate to 35PSI. Has anyone know if this is true? thank you!
