My true Christmas Story

Last night just before the wife and I headed to bed..... I had a talk with our pets ...... the dogs and the cats. I told them the christmas story and told the cats that it would be better if we had a mouse.

God as my witness..... this morning I looked at the coffee table .... looked again and just started laughing out loud. Grab the camera and also called the wife at work.......

Not a creature was stirring........ not even a mouse! OMG the cats came through!

Nice. Always good when the books start coming to life.
Sadly, our mouser is no more - the cat we have left will bring them to us in bed, though, and then let them go to see what we do.
Anyone want a cat?

Well the loacl barn cat had a litter of 4 in my yard in April 08. We found homes for all of them..... we kept two. Having a 150 yo+ house gives them a good place to practice their trade and they are growing into great mouser's. Usually we would find a gift on the floor but this is the first left on a table. Lucky that the bed has not turned into the delivery area!
