Inner Tie Rod Question - Toyota Yaris Forums

I took my 2012 Yaris hatchback for wheel alignment, and was told the inner tie rod has play and needs to be replaced. I see outer tie rod listed on Toyota parts site, but not the inner one. From the diagram, it appears as an integral part of steering gear. I hope I don't have to replace entire gear... Any advice appreciated.

They list inners on Rockauto, so maybe you need to talk to someone at the Toyota parts counter.

Thank you, just ordered both inner and outer from Rock Auto. Will be replacing outer one as well, as I have to disconneet it anyway. They also told me the driver side strut is bent and the struts need to be replaced as a pair, can't kust replace one side. The car was hit on left front wheel while making left turn and alignment is totally out of whack... minor fender dent other than that. I ordered pair of KYB struts. Wondering if I should had ordered new coil springs as well. The car has no sag, so I thought I could reuse existing coils.
