Any one with 3pt Race harness?

Im thinking of getting a 3pt harness as I cant have a harness bar in the car because of occupants on weekends.

1. With 3pt harness i can bolt the shoulder one to the rear passenger's bolt hole.
2. Of course when i have a passenger in the back, i would use the stock driver seat belt to keep the load on both seat belts even and no belts in front of people's faces.

Been 3 months Ive had stock seat belt on my bucket seat.

You could do the cage that Garm sells(the one I have) with the removable harness bar. It's two easy to access nuts/bolts and the harness bar is out...takes all of three minutes.

Bro....I am gonna say this very slowly.....ready....Passengers Are Over Rated.....sorry I had to....are you gonna use the harness for daily driving or just track days.

I ask because I can take my harness bar out in under 5 minutes and it works fine for AutoX track time.....

A decent 4 point or 5 point harness is about the same cost as a 3 point one of same quality....I spent a long time on the same question before I actually bought what I did.

I haven't tracked yet. I just want better holding. I don't really want to get the cage even if it's remove able harness bar. 3 point seems simple enough, plus I'm looking at Corbeau one that is retractable, so I can use it DD and lock it down for spirit runs.

Yes having rear passengers suck

Just get the little lock for your seatbelt, I know lots of guys that race casually with that. Locks down your seatbelt as tight as you want. Problem solved

How about this? http://www.soloracer.com/rallye3.html It bolts into the stock bolt location and has a quick release buckle. Some versions just click into the stock seatbelt buckles (dont know if they work for toyotas). And its DOT approved for use on the street.

Yeah thats the same type I'm looking at, just cheaper from Corbeau. I want the retractable so I can have normal body movement for DD and I can lock it down for no movements.

In any case i need to decide on a color, black to match my black seats or Red to pop and they match my interior floor, cup holder and dash lights.
