Is my 2017 Yaris SE w/ manual transmission extremely rare?
I am a die hard manual transmission guy afraid that one day they won't be available, at least here in the US. Back in April I ordered a 2016 Yaris SE from the factory with a 5-speed. It had to be an SE. They initially said 6 weeks. Apparently the build factory in France does not supply the US market with SEs with a 5-speed, so they say. After countless Toyota reps contacting the factory and a whopping 9 months later I received a 2017 model. Yes it took that long and the next years model to get one. I specified the two-tone Barcelona Red and Piano Black combo. Really like it so far. I keep searching the internet to convince myself that I may have the only one like it in the country, is that possible??
