Trouble installing rocker panel moulding retainer clips

I recently got some rocker panel moulding retainer clips for my 07 yaris for the left drivers side and im having trouble installing it into the hole. Is there a trick to it or does anyone have any clue how this is done and help would be appreciated thanks!

It would help to see which ones you are having trouble with.

Is the issue that the layers are misaligned or can you just not get the clip into the hole?

I think its just a matter of getting the clip into the hole, I mean it was there before so its just a mattter of getting it in there.

Check the order on the other side. I believe the L shaped piece goes under the strip that runs along the rocker.

Yes your absolutely right. Today I had to do a few things to the yaris and turns out what I had to do was remove the L shaped piece screws then position it then put on the clip so its clipped onto everything and then it was just a matter of pushing it on and then putting the screws back on.

Thanks for your help though

Question: is there a way I can get yaris world decals because I would love to tell more people about this awesome forum.
