Yaris SE 2012+ Rear axle on 2011 and earlier ? Drum/Disc Solution ?

Hi, ive not been quite active on the forum since 2009-2010. I still own my 2009 RS Yaris tought. I know the drum --> disc swap is discutable but I would like to do it for appearance purpose . Since the Yaris SE 2012 + already have rear brake disc from factory i tought it might be an easy/reliable solution as a drum to disc conversion. I looked at both axle and they seem pretty similar.

Anyone tried this before or knows a 2012+ rear axle wouldn't fit a 2009 yaris ?

Thank You guys !
