GB newcomer with Yaris 1.8SR

Just discovered this site

Anyway, I have had my new Black 1.8SR for a week now and I'm lurving it

I thought the suspension was a bit jittery at 1st but it was more a question of adjusting from my old MGTF.

Now I'm used to it I think the SR does a really good job of getting the balance right between handling and ride.

Having said that however, I'm tempted by a TRD rear sway bar

Anyone know if the sway bar can be bought in the UK or is it an import item?

Any tips for an after market air filter?

You should be able to buy local ,but the price might leave you feeling a bit sick, Check price with TRD-Sparks Toyota , USA Vendor on this site
i paid $152.00+78.00US to ship one to New Zealand.

Hey... you came to the right place!

I think the TRD sway bar is a TRD USA item. At least I have not seen it advertized outside the US.

It is a good investment!

If you buy it from the USA... TRDsparks as noted on the previous post is the place to get it.

E-mail them, they are really helpfull.

In regards to the Air filter... Are you looking for a drop in filter? An exposed (Cone) filter or a CAI?

Welcome, and we like pics. Can you post some?
At this moment i'm waiting fore my TRD sway bar, I have ordered in the USA.
As an aftermarket filter I have a stock replacement K&N air filter.
I like it very much. It feels like more power by lower revs and the fluel economy is a little bit better.

No pics just yet as its been raining all day in the UK

As soon as I give the car a wash I'll post some up.

Really looking forward to hearing your report on the sway bar.

I notice that it has two settings one firmer than the other?

Think I'll look into the K&N.

Cheers

The TRD sway bar only has one setting. It's not adjustable.
