Great prices! I hope you have more luck selling the 1NZ than I have. I've had one listed for a long time and not one inquiry. These engines never seem to fail. I also have a 1NZ airbox with MAF sensor, and a 2ZR box without MAF for sale. Same thing...no inquiries. You might have more luck selling this stuff in Toronto, as opposed to me in rural New Brunswick. I have all kinds of other stuff that I have no use for as well. Since we're selling our house, I expect a lot of this stuff is going to get given away or eventually tossed, sadly. I might keep the 1NZ and ECU, but will have to move that. Maybe I'll build the 1NZ.

On the upside, I was going to throw out an old cobbled together exhaust system I pulled off my '06 before the swap. It had two cats on it. I had welded an old junkyard cat on it since the resonator was gone. The cats were Toyota NA2 and NA3. I got $475.00 for the two cats. Bonus!

Yea, I thought $300 for the 1nz with 139,xxxkm on it was a steal. But, much like yourself, ive had no interest in it. I think you're right... being basically bullet proof, no one needs one.

2zr airbox you say? I have the maf but no lid. I believe the bottoms of the boxes are the same. What would you want for the airbox lid? If you were interested in shipping it that is.. im still planning on swapping blucar until my cutlass build is finished. Then its 4x4 yaris! Lol

Well, with the price of gas going up, ive decided to swap my red car back to the 1nz so I'm am no longer offering these items for sale. There was no interest for the items anyway.

But im very pleased to report that the 1nz that has been sitting in my shed since 2019, with no storage treatment and a good solid year with an open intake and exhaust manifold, still runs mint! Dust, spray paint, bugs and what have you, able to get in the engine and it fired over first shot! After the computer relearned, it settled down nicely. It was idling at 600rpm within 3 minutes. I really can't believe these Toyotas! Kinda glad no one wanted this amazing little engine haha

no, I was getting in the 7.5 L/100km hiway range. Not bad by any means. But with the extra power comes the temptation to lean into the pedal a bit harder. I was also running the Xd transmission with the higher final drive gear. And my 2zr engine had over 460,000km on it, so I'm sure it wasn't as efficient as it once was. Back to the 1nz, im now getting around 5.5 L/100k hiway so decent savings when gas is $1.30/ L

Are you selling your whole car?
Or just the Engine?
