Snow in Irving, TX

Got some snow last night. Here's what it looked like when I went out for breakfast this morning. The Yaris handles nicely in the snow I must say.

We got a light dusting down here in San Antonio last night, but I left the Yaris at home and took the Jeep to work...too much ice on the roads!

Cheers! M2

Yeah, it was confusing when i walked outside at 3am and there was just a dusting with mostly ice under it.

so is this a 'once a year' kind of thing or 'once a decade'? i wouldn't have guessed a place like dallas would ever have to worry about accumulating snow! how is this affecting superbowl preparations?

in indy we have a whole plan in place for bad conditions at next year's superbowl(if there even is one) because it's just a fact of life being february in indiana.

This is what we got...

Not a lot, but there was a build-up of ice underneath that made the morning commute pretty nasty! I had to put the Jeep in 4WD High to maintain traction.

Cheers! M2

Yes, but let's hope we don't have another ice storm next year.

This is a lot of snow for the area. Usually it's just a light dusting once or twice a year. Most of the time it's ice more than snow. I grew up in the northeast, so I like it every once in a while. I miss it a little.

I'm not sure if they were prepared for this for the Super Bowl. On the news right now they are talking about how 5 people have been injured from ice sliding of the roof of the stadium.
