Mark 3 Yaris 1.33SR in Sintra Blue

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay in posting pics but I've been so busy at work and not had much time driving the Yaris, but managed to take a wee run out to a town on the outskirts of Edinburgh and grabbed a few pics of our Yaris SR in Sintra Blue.

Hope you enjoy.

Cheers

Davy

Wow. They moved the center console and took away the cup holders beneath the front air vents. And changed/took away the upper and lower glove boxes from the passenger side. Is this the 2012 model?

Lordy that is one big honkin' front wiper.

Thanks for posting as requested. Nice to finally see non-promotional shots of the 2012.

Looks nice, but I still shed tears for the loss of 2006-11 quirkiness.

The front wiper I was not so sure on but it's a amazing bit of kit, really clears the screen, It's more of a grown up car compared to the previous yaris'

I like the new steering wheel, but miss the center cluster. The front looks like Gundam inspired design

It's growing on me, but I'm still not sure if I like it enough to buy one some day.

I thought I saw a new Yaris today, turned out to be a Matrix. Damn, they do look alike! That's one thing about the old (Gen 2) Yaris, it was rare to mistake it for something else (at least in this country!).

Cheers! M2

hi m8 looking good , at a glance the speedo style looks similar to the ones fitted in mini's ?
where did you take the pics about as they look familiar to me ? i.m used to driving around edinburgh and central scotland as in my last job i was a construction NVQ/SVQ assessor and stay just along the road in west lothian

hope you get a load of trouble free motoring miles / love the look of the new yaris
and colour < we had a vw touran that colour and the wifes mazda 3 is similar aswell

Me too, I hate that mini-wiper as it always marks the windshield at the end of its stroke, right in line with my line-of-sight. I would have preferred the Civic-type wipers where both go from the middle outward or a single wiper like the Gen 3.

Cheers! M2

The exterior looks a lot better than I thought it would. I hate the interior, especially the dashboard.
