^ absolutely! i like the 4-2-1 type header but the weld on the o2 sensor where it broke had rust on them...IMO, the weld on the last tube was not primo!

got me a dc header (4-1) from garm for a very reasonable price!

I have thought about this over the last few weeks and I have the answer to why this happened. There is a flaw in Weapons design of the header that Megan and Toyota didn't have. Do you remember the side bolt that was on the bottom of the stock exhaust? That is for this very sort of occurence. It prevents the exhaust from rattling around and reduces vibrations. This is why I haven't had a problem with my megan. Other people who have other headers maybe even the Weapon itself might not have the same issue as you did. But not having that extra anchoring point is likely the culprit.

Just because your theory on what happened is accepted doesn't mean it was the only factor. I'm just offering more into what caused the malfunction. Theres a bunch of things wrong with this set up.

how, it bolts on the same way.if you dont put the springs back on the bolts like it is stock any header will snap with fatigue.

imo, kou has a point here in installing the spring bolt because it would help lessen the vibration but, to say that's the answer to the problem w/o knowing all the factors would be foolish...

i think we should ask someone who has the nitto mid-pipe and weapon r header installed in their car and give us their opinions about it because mine did not fit snugly while installing it with the oem spring bolt!

i think weapon r header has it only for less than 2 yrs so i wouldn't know where kou got his 2 headers!...

This is Chris W. from Weapon-R. I was reading this post and cant seem to see pictures anymore. But by reading the thread there was! No springs on the bolts?
I don't think there was mention in your email with the pictures that the springs bolts were not installed. Without those springs it will create a bit of stress on the flange. We have taken care of this customer. But for further reference this was a improper installation and we would have not warrantied the header fully.
