Signature Picture Limit

The whole two pictures per signature thing is killing me. I like to link to DIY's with images, and I am about to have another new product on my doorstep with a new DIY and I can't put in a third image. This rule needs to die! Either allow HTML in signatures so we can do image maps or nix the rule altogether so I can put 15 images in my sig if I want to. They're all small and none of them are hosted on your servers anyway! Then if members see someone abusing the lack of a limit with a signature that takes up a page, we can report them.

Just make it a size limit as opposed to a # of limit. Max of 500x200 and 80kb total of all images or something.

I don't think they could because there is no real way to host sig pictures here other than posting them as attatchments in threads or putting them in your garage. All of these are coming from photobucket.

Take Ran's sig for example. ( not picking on you, just an example) It is jugnormous. I could have 40 150x24 pixel DIY links in my signature and it may match his. Doesn't make much sense if you ask me. Image maps would quickly shut me up, though.

I'm in the process of downsizing my sig to about a 450x150 or so. It's not really tall, just the width of it makes it seem big. I realized that it was kinda big. I'm looking to make it about this size.

I made that for Chris07. I think that's pretty reasonable.

I don't think your signature is too big. I actually think its sweet. I was just saying it makes no sense that you can put one 600x150 in there, but not 3 150x24 images.

can you do something like Ran where you squish the images together into one image? I'm not sure what he is using but couldn't you do that?

I could, but what I am saying is I use them as links to DIY's for our vendors... can't link if they're all in one big images unless I can use image maps to slap multiple links on a big image like Ran's.

I see guess I could have paid attention to what you were saying but regardless I'm not that savy anyway when it comes to this stuff. Looks good Ran.

Here's the revamped sig for Chris 07.

I tried putting is as many of his parts as possible, but with the limited size I could only do so much. If anyone else wants one, just PM me.

You'd be surprised. The custom plate I have coming in for the Yaris is H3NTA1.

H3NTA1 = Hentai = "Pervert" in Japanese
