2016's just barely starting to arrive!

New member here ...

I'm hoping to get a 2016 Yaris SE A4 in the next few weeks/ months?

There are precisely 0 SE's within 100 miles of me as of today ... plenty non SE's.

If I do actually get the car, I will reveal the reasons for my choice when I can buy/ lease (virtually) any car I want.

As many here have stated ... the Yaris gets zero respect in the automotive world.

I have test driven many new cars recently including the new fugly Scion iA/ Yaris.

I have rented many, many cars and spent a lot of time in a rental Yaris L last year and learned that it is a GREAT car!

Assuming I get the car ... there are 2 mods I will do immediately. Mostly to fix what the factory should have done.

1. Exhaust tip - I hate the unfinished look.
2. Brake Caliper paint - I hate the mechanical/ unfinished look thru the nice wheels.

That's all -- the only 2 fatal problems for me about the appearance of the car. >>> I don't like window tinting!

Wait and see if a Yaris appears in the stable.

after looking at her for 2 weeks now ....

the brake calipers actually do have a factory shiny coating that isn't too bad

and that skinny exhaust pipe tip is kind of hidden underneath so it doesnt really bother me

I had an aftermarket exhaust-tip finisher waiting on my 2015 Yaris SE, and it was installed within a few hours of when they rolled my Yaris off the truck at my house. I can't believe that Toyota was that cut-rate during production as to not include that $20-30 add-on as part of the SE package (or at least not offer a Toyota OEM one for sale from U.S. dealerships). It looks so much better back there with the polished stainless steel finisher-tip installed.

I put a S/S tip like this (Pilot Motorsport) on my '07 and '14. It actually fits better than the OEM Toyota tip and only cost about $10 at Walmart.
