Thanks for the offer, but I'm not sure if I will see you before then. I'll see if my gf's bro has one.

I have a compressor in my car you can use. I also bring my own tools I can lend you in case the tech-inspector is hungover and thinks there's a loose part in your car. We do park next to each other there like at all meets (but if you wanna meet elsewhere and roll-in together that's fine too). Your sub can be removed and placed in your parking spot (no one's gonna take your stuff).

They always have some to lend you at the events as long as you let them hold your driver license (I'm going down this route myself right now until I can afford my own helmet). Since these are loaners, I recommend you wear a headsock.

^ Cool. This is all just a thought as I'm not 100% sure I'll be racing. Do they sell headsocks there as well? I have no clue where to get those. hahahaha.

I got my free headsock from ddongbap because he's always got too many lying around lol. Also, JustJesus lent me one for my first event. You might wanna PM them for that. And don't worry, we're all gonna chip-in and cover for you in some way. All you gotta do is decide that you wanna race

What class do you plan on running in novice?

I know nothing about SCCA auto-xing. Never having raced before, I'm assuming I'd be a novice , and I would probably race in the category you mentioned earlier, CST? But does that mean I have to attend the 7:45am walk?

You guys are the best!

Looking at your garage I can tell CST is right where you belong . You'll be doing the novice course walk right before the afternoon runs. We'll probably be joining you too just to get it out of the way quicker lol. Also, I suggest you show-up about 11-ish so you're not rushing around in the parking lot to get ready

Tempting, tempting, tempting. I wanted to go and improve my photography skills, but now you're making me want to improve my driving skills instead. LOL! So I would have to bring 55 bucks in cash if I want to race? And how many runs do each driver get on average?

three runs. it's exciting but not a whole lot of seat time. Still, if it's your first event you will think it was a lot more than that.

I'll bring you a goodie to take home if you show up.

Perfect amount for me to do both, improve my driving skills and improve my photography skills.

Just a heads-up, you won't be able to take shots of our Yarii in CST class as you'll be running with us. Another Yaris is running SM, but that's in the morning if you wanna show up. You should still get plenty of shots to take of Miata's and late '80's Civics though.

But in the end, it's the driving challenge that makes it all worth the trip

Just hope some crazy, overprotective mother with small children in your neighborhood park doesn't hear you say that lol

But what's stopping you from still coming down? I'm sure she can survive one weekend without her son lol

Spend the whole weekend here then. There's lots to do!

Part of my Saturday looks empty. What do you think of canyon cruising?

haha, canyon cruises are good. I drove down Box Canyon Road the last time I was there (to get to Garm's shop). lol. hahaha, spending the weekend there means I gotta find a place to stay, which was one of the reasons why my mom changed her mind about going.
