Dadams - Rit Dye. get a big tub that you can completely submerge parts into, and dye them. it will never chip or peel or flake!

Jen - someone linked me to the mirror mounts that glue to the windshield like stock mirrors, so i think im gonig to go with those <3

I never thought of dying them... That's a pretty good idea! Saves a lot of time that's for sure :P does that only require one coat? Better yet is there a DIY on it?

Sure is!

http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...interior+parts

its not so much a coat as it is....boiling parts. coloration depends on how long you dye them!

what to sticker bomb next.......thinking the rear center upper seatbelt mount. it would be obnoxious. I like obnoxious.

yay, 4th coat of mod podge is drying.

Also, in case anyone is wondering about removing stuff like this later on in life, it is very simple. the mod podge actually makes removing the stickers easier, since it strengthens the paper. it wont rip leaving the stick and half the paper down. it comes off with that satisying *pop* sound that happens when it all comes off clean :)

I'm wondering about either dying or replacing my headliner with a black one, or removing it and re-upholstering it. if i re-upholster it, i'm thinking black and red checkerboard. I've never done a headliner......anyone have any insight on that?

Edit: PEEKTURZ

I like. yeah I realized i put a few upside down. Whoops.

First off new piece looks great! And I've actually wanted to replace the headliner as well to black but I'm not sure how to do it either I was going to try and look for a professional to do it but I'm not sure where to take it

I wouldn't have any idea on where to take it to have someone else to do it...... I dislike it when shops work on my vehicles anyhow. Last resort sort of thing.'

my old bosses wife does upholstery, maybe I'll ask her if she wants to do it for me. or teach me.
