Just Got My Mesh Grill
yeah, it's not all that. i mainly got it to protect the radiator and A/C condenser from debris (how i lost my A/C when i had my GTI). it's flat black and made of plastic. i'll post some pics once i install it (when i get some time too).

lol...i was anticipating one of those. i just got it in the mail today. it was rolled up, so i'm letting it sit under my friends text books (see, those books aren't completely useless). it's been under for about half an hour. i'll go take a look and snap a quick pic of it. brb...

Looks good. I guess you have to cut it to size to cover the grill properly?

yeah, it's a little too big in length, width, and height. once it flattens out, i'll tape it to the bumper, outline the mesh with some white out, and then cut. the only way i can think of how to install it is with black zip-ties on to the OEM "bar" grill...i have to get ready for my date now...check back here later on tonight.

Any hardware would sell a light weight metal material too you can paint it black and slap it on...just a thought.

Its just chickenwire mesh fence till you fit it to the car, then you'd have chickenwire on the car.

i'll have to wait until i have some time to trace out the bumper opening onto the mesh, and then cut it out. i have an essay to write and a book to read this week. but i'll try to do it tomorrow. just got the grill today, and i had plans today, so i couldn't do anything with the grill.
