How can I cover front license plate hole
My Yaris sedan comes with a front license plate frame and there are two screw holes on the front bumper. I am in utah and I do not need to have a front license plate. However, the two holes left on the bumper looks bad if I remove my license plate. Can anyone tell me how I can remove them?

I don't have an answer for you but rather the same problem. I have a saturn vue with four holes in it and two of them in chrome.

go to the dealer from wich you purchased it and complain, they will have to replace your bumper

You could get some interior push pins and paint the heads body color and stick those into the holes, or you can head to a body shop and have them fill the holes and paint the bumper.

My dad's body shop had these little rounded plugs that were body color that they used to fill the holes from the front license bracket on their new G6, looks pretty good, you might check with a body shop, it only cost him like 20 bucks.

actually it is not part of the delivery process.... I live in a 2 plate state and recieved my car with no front plate holes, so some Jack-Off at the dealership you purchased your car from put holes in your nice new bumper, I would bitch up a storm if I lived in a one plate state

Or you can take it to a body shop and have them fill and spray the bumper. Shouldn't be more then $150. |

i would have thought about using plugs, but mine were not very straight holes..and would have looked funny with plugs in them.
what i did was took a sharp utility knife, and cleaned up the messed up plastic around the holes, then i filled them with some clear silicon, let that dry, and then cleaned it with the utility knife again, and then painted it with a paint pen fromt eh dealership. looks decent :) |

Aren't there a couple of marks on the bumper (little dimples) where the two holes are to be drilled by the dealer, as it comes from the factory?

Like the saturn guy, cover them with some chrome screws...check car stores...
I only have 2 holes so I would had done that but I can't..state law needs front plates.. Only use chrome if it looks good on ur car...like if its black its nice. -- Blen |

In Utah, the law also requires a front plate but I've seen many cars on the road do not hang a front plate. So I think it's fine. I do not know your state, but in Utah, it will be fine.

I bought a kit at the local auto store for about 8 bucks. It consists of two plastic screws to fill the holes and two small chrome covers that pop onto the screw heads. Looks decent enough. Painting them to match the bumper would be easy. "pop on screw covers":
