For those of you who like motorcycles... and have an aversion to tech bloat:

Reviews have been great. Some different cans and I believe it's a winner.
Still have my Norton (68) and a Duc (78) been thinking of one of these...

Motorcycles are getting smaller. I do not see as many motorcycles on the highway anymore. My heyday with my ST 1100 and ST 1300 has come and gone. My ST 1100 was $6000 with 6000 miles on it in 1996 and my ST 1300 with 3000 miles on it was $7000 in 2010. The bikes may be smaller but the price is going up ! I prefer the 1100 because it was easier to service and yes it had last tech. The 1300 was more tech which hais downsideS

There are some great looking prices on Used BMW police bikes around here.
Under $4k. Here's the but, for most repairs you need to see the dealer.
The other downside is it's 600lb's. Not easy to push around for a old little guy!

I was working in a bike shop when they were new and I used to take them out when the owner wasn't there. It was a lot of bike for a 120lb 17 year old

I had a new 1979 CBX. I sold it after a year and later on bought a new/old stock 1980 CBX but Honda had changed airbox and cam timing and it just didn't have the same roar and top end power the 79 did.

I was looking at the topic Royal Enfield and cams offered by S&S--that engine has roller cam followers. I couldn't find valve sizes , throttle body diameter ect.

Back in the 80s you could buy a “leftover“ Honda brand new in a crate. In 83 I was looking over their List of leftovers and you can get a 79CVX brand new in a crate for 3850! Wish I took advantage of that.
