yaris/scion xd

is the centre bore of the scion xd the same as the yaris 54.1? also with the xd having the same chassis as the yaris does anyone know if the mount where the caliper bolts onto is the same as a yaris, the urban cruiser in the uk is the same as a xd so wanting to know this info to use the brakes from the urban cruiser over here as they are slightly bigger so will fill the space in my wheels a little bit more and as the uk yaris is built in france the front calipers are rubbish, thanks

I thought most yaris have the 275mm rotor in UK?

they might. You might also think about going to your local salvage yard and ask if they have Yaris SR brake calipers and rotors if you have 255mm rotors.

Send a message via AIM to cali yaris
^ Maybe the TS, but here they are 255mm.

I don't think the centerbore is the same, The xD is 5-lug and I'm pretty sure it's larger than 54.1.

the urban cruiser here is 54.1 and is 5 stud but will just drill 4 holes in it for my studs, as long as the centre bore is the same itl line up on it, the urban cruiser has the same hub but 5 stud wheel bearing in it for some reason, just wondering if the scion was the same as can get the calipers, discs and pads cheaper for the scion in the us than the urban cruiser in the uk, plus can only get standard discs and pads for the urban cruiser here, as for my discs they are only 255mm like you say so wanted something slightly bigger with some decent pads and should be more than enough stopping power for me plus looks better, as far as salvage yards i cant find any in the uk with urban cruisers breaking or yars sr's, only base model yaris's

The rotors for the UK Urban Cruiser and the US Xd are 43512-12710. This is the same part number as for the US Corolla from 2007-2011. The calipers also are the same as for US Xd and Corolla.

Unfortunately the EPC's images are not detailed enough to tell if the mounting for the calipers is the same as for the Yaris.

thanks a lot for that, wel i took a caliper off an urban cruiser on the sales pitch at work the other day and it fitted my yaris no probs so il get the calipers, discs and pads from an xd as there cheaper than the uk :D i know what you mean about toyota's epc, some of the diagrams are so hard to see whats what, thanks again

That is correct. Centric is an aftermarket company, so they have their own part number for them.

*thinking loudly about possibilities*

hmm so the caliper fits huh. hm scion XD brake discs are 275mmx25mm, and the yaris SR/vitz RS ones are 275mmxx22mm. so close. lol sounds almost like a good match. It might work, but i dont know how far the caliper can push in. once it dips below 22mm...which might be the XD's "time to change rotors" thickness...oo the possibilities.

how much is the redrilling to fit 4lug?
