'Tis the season
Well it's almost Winter, and i've been wondering lately if I should get winter tires.
I live in Atlanta where there isn't a lot of snow or ice, but last year we had a little bit of snow and ice and those stock Goodyear Eagle LS tires gave me very little grip. In fact, I almost crashed because I had so little grip and I couldn't stop because I was on snow and ice...and I was only going less then 10 MPH. I will probably be getting some summer tires fitted to some new wheels, so i've been wondering if I should get some snow tires for my steelies too. But seeing as how i've never used snow tires, I don't know if I need them and if I should just stick with the Eagle LS tires and drive really really really slow. What is your input guys? |

I'm trying to get some steelies and snow tires for sure. That's my plan.
