Cool stuff. Im gonna go with SMD strips one day. No rush, as they are never on anyways.

Yea I never herd of the smd strips, but I'm from Chicago and the weather sux here. The pictures I posted are years old cuz the moisture destroyed my LEDs. I actually ended up installing two kits total and both broke within a year each. I wish they have a more weather protected kits. Are SMD kits more resistant to harsh weather?

iv had the same kit for 4 years now. Mine was like normal LED bulbs in a light tube. I used magnets to adhere the side bars so to allow for putting the car on a lift or jack up.
SMD strips are flat, just buy the waterproof ones, Its more DIY, but so much cheaper. My interior floor lights are SMD, and the best thing you get tons of color combinations.

I pickee up the Street Glow ones that will be installed eventually. I think they can provide a cool effect during meets or photoshoots.
I honestly could care less what others think. If I did I wouldn't have customized a Yaris.

I loved the kit it had like 7 colors and it tripped people out, cuz there are different pattern strobes. I liked it chilln drinkin beers looking at the lights. Its funny and gets lots of attention at night. My dad drove it once with blue on and he got pulled over and got a $20 ticket for it haha

Diggin' the lights, I personally would go with a white glow. Red and blue are too risky in my area.

I was thinking to make the rear light bar/strip act as a brake and reverse light.
