Coolant filler neck

How often do these need replacement? Alot of times my arm is leaning beside it flexing it a little but nothing is leaking. I spray rubber protectant on it and plastic parts under the hood every once in a while

you can get an aftermarket metal one, or just replace it and get that weight off your chest, they will break eventually.

I have an aluminum one on my car that I got from Aliexpress, it cost under 30 bucks and is actually good quality. Just be careful when working around it if the engine is hot as the aluminum holds a lot of heat(way more than the plastic one) and will burn your arm, I know from experience.

For me personally I would rather keep one extra so when I replace the coolant next it's there. The one I got from AliExpress was like $19 cad with shipping and 5 star reviews.

Hopefully I won't have to do the water pump on this car like the old yaris

I only ever recall seeing one break on a friend's 2010 RAV4. I believe the ones with the tiny hose outlets are easier to break

I got one with AliExpress. I noticed glue around where the overflow hose attached. Is yours like that? The listing pictures dont seen to have that on the one I ordered but all the others do. I hope that won't be a failure point for them in the future. I expected it to be on solid piece
