Sound from engine compartment
Hi
Please help. I've been driving my 2012 Toyota Yaris since the day I bought it brand new and it has been fantastic but lately I've been experiencing some issues with it. The problem is that there is a continuous noise/sound coming from the engine compartment. This is experienced whenever the car is moving and the higher the speed the greater the sound. I've so far replaced the wheel Bearings 2 times, clutch kit, ball joints, V-arm bushes, CV joints, stabilizer rods with no luck. What may be the problem? Please help |

Is the noise apparent while the car is not moving and you're revving the engine? If so the noise is from the engine, not your drive terrain. Check the things that are driven by the serpentine belt, hopefully it's not an internal issue.
If there's no additional noise from revving the engine at a stand still, then maybe the transmission? Good luck and keep us posted. |
