Joined the Army
Well, I joined the Army yesterday. I leave for basic in 11 days. Got a big signing bonus and a job that'll I'll be able to use on the outside.
I'm going in as an E3 (pay grade/rank for those that don't know). And my job is signal support systems specialist (MOS 25U). I may have a slot for Airborne school too which is cool. I'll know about that Monday. I'm pretty excited about going, I originally tried to get into the Air Force, but my blood pressure was high the day I went to MEPS (nerves got the best of me). I ended up going with the Army because I got a better job choice and didn't have to wait six months to go to basic. Anyway, thought I'd throw the news out there, even though most of you probably don't care.

wow, good luck on gettin into the airborne school!! sounds fun. howd u get to go in as an E3? did u do ROTC in high school or somethin?
