alternator crooked
when i tighten up my belt my alternator start pivoting a little bit crooked, i cant tighten my belt up, help!

my lower bolt is bent, i bought a new bolt at the dealer and still tightens up crooked

I had a similar issue with a broken alternator mounting bolt on the 2ZR--sheared off at the nut and allowed the alternator to sit a little crooked. Started throwing belts when I got on the gas. If the bolt is bent inside the mounting boss, you may have to pull the bumper cover and radiators out to get at it.

well it turns out i need a new engine block, cause where the alternator goes over the block there is a section thats indented ineards and causes the alternator to sit crooked, this is where im at with my life :(

We need pictures! Maybe you can shave the area flat and shim it to make up the space.
