How to put center caps on wheels w/o breaking them?
Hi to everybody!
Recently, I bouth an Replacement Yaris S 2008 wheels. Today, I bought Genuine Toyota Center Caps (part number: 42603-52110) to install on the wheels, but I broke one of this because I need to use the wood holder of a Hammer, and Kaboom! Is too difficult to put these center caps on wheels. Have you any tricks for this? Thanks (sorry for my english). |

Hi
Normally they are pretty easy to put in place, could it be that the center hole in the aftermarket wheels are a bit smaller than the OE wheels so they don´t fit properly. Regards Steven. |

use the palm of your hand. or put a block of wood over the entire cap and tap THAT with a hammer.

I used to work at a tire shop. Usually consisted of us making a fist and making a quick swift pound with the side of your fist and it pops in place.

It is a lot easier to put them on when the wheels aren't on the car too.
