Rare ECHO

Never saw a black ECHO with the grey trim.

Plenty of black Yaris's though...

That grey trim always looks like that, even when it was new.

I can't believe Toyota designed a car that way.

I never saw the flares in any color other than gray. My red one had gray pieces.

Here's the really rare Echo S. Note the body colored cladding...tail and cool fog lights too!

A Nissan Pathfinder crossed the centerline and hit me head on.

There was a wreck in the other direction (path finder rearended the silver sedan first, then popped into my lane). I was next to the sedan when they were struck. I was actually knocked backwards and 90 degrees in the crash. I think she had her foot on the gas throughout the whole wreck,

I almost had it in my lap. The scratches on the hood are from the pathfinder!

...but I walked away from it with no broken bones or bleeding, just whiplash.

Wow that is an amazing testimony to the safety of the ECHO! I mean...that is what everyone fears a collision with an SUV when driving a small car.

The ECHO actually looks like it came of better than the Nissan.

The Nissan was in two crashes. I was only in one.

...but yes it did a remarkable job at protecting me. As it was happening, i thought I was screwed.

Looking at these pics has made my neck start hurting!

Ive only seen a couple back ones and NEVER one with the plastic trim.

I would be afraid the trim would hold water next to the metal and rust it over time.
