Toyota oil filter difference in sizes? pics
Hey just did an oil change, and found that the Canadian filter uses a different part number and size
90915-YZZF2 is the american version, which is smaller and i just compared it to the canadian version i just bought from the toyota dealer which number is 90915-YZZF1 Anyone know what size is recommended? why are the canucks gettin bigger filters? lol |

I had one free oil change with my yaris here in indana usa they put on a F1 .I got some filters at another dealer to do it my self they sold me the F2's Just ordered a case of filters from partznet.com real good price ordered the F2's but it hard tellling what they will send me .ordered filters from them before for my tacoma's they send a different one from what i ordered they were bigger they work fine.You would think bigger is better more filter element

A local stockist sold me a 90915-YZZE1. I hope that is the correct one for me. The 1NZ engine isn't listed on the side of the box.

you guys should be using the 90915-yzzf2 but the f1 will do the same thing.

http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=59333 the factory filter that comes with our yaris i believe is the 90915-10003 This is what the japanese get: very superior construction and filtration, we get this if we buy the TRD filter for $50 can anyone confirm this oil filter part number that comes with the yaris? |

cool, I really like the Amsoil filters I was just reading about now
http://www.amsoil.com/StoreFront/eao.aspx They are winning my business by showing every part and how it is built-also good for 25,000 miles? thats a solid filter, but i wouldnt leave it in that long ive been a mobil1 oil guy for years now im thinking of switching to Amsoil 5w30 now too |
