well, the #QCyaris still sits collecting dust. I had it on the road in the late fall, but it started throwing cam sensor codes. i parked it an havent really had/made time to deal with it.
i have a spare 1nzfe that i partially disassembled as i feared the timing chain tensioner in the #QCyaris had failed an the chain jumped a tooth. taking off the valve cover and turning the crank it would seem as though the timing is fine. what i DID do is take the cam sensor from my good 1nzfe engine and pop it on the #QCyaris 1nzfe. just need to find some time to button the engine back up and start it to see if i fixed the problem...
